FPT025 – The JACKeens – Plastic Bert EP Out Soon

Flatpack Traxx is proud to present our 25th instalment on the label, this time coming from Irish debutants The JACKeens. The trio hailing from Waterford City, Southern Ireland consist of Lloyd Kenny, Paul Bryan & Ray C.

Lloyd’s probably the most well known out of the trio with several solo productions under his belt, on labels such as Miss Mee’s Pastada Records, Gramophonedzie’s Disko Zoo, Midwest Hustle and Serial Sickness to name a few.

Paul is one of Waterford’s best known and respected DJs and in the past couple of years he has been putting his hand into production which have seen the fruits of labour, released on Irish house label Bump Academy.

Ray is new to the whole world of production and is still finding his feet. His knowledge of music spans decades and multiple genres and is already helping with the distinctive sound the The JACKeens are promising to bring.

San Francisco’s Hector Moralez provides the perfect remix to round off the EP. Hector has been turning up virtually everywhere as of late, with his recent productions with long time friend Phil Weeks on Robsoul recordings, Minority Music & The Factory under their Fries & Bridges guise. Not to mention his own solo work topping many DJ’s charts.
