We were hugely impressed by Dhaze's previous EP on Blind Box, whose four "crisp" and "lean" tracks bristled with razor-sharp beats and "just the right elements of light and shade darting in between". This outing on Druzhba explores similar sonic territory, while offering up a series of cuts that feel warmer and chunkier in tone. Check, for example, the smooth and dreamy peak-time bounce of the subtly spacey "Other Worlds", which is in turn given a more straight up, glitchy tech-house overhaul by Swoy. Over on side B, Dhaze's love of intergalactic synthesizer chords is indulged further on the swinging, garage-influenced tech-house funk of "Ramen N' Bread", before he rounds of another solid EP via the crispy tech-house box jam "U09".
